Callaway Cars and General Motors have been strong performance partners for 35 years. Even back then, the New Lyme, Connecticut company was able to create a world beater with the 250+ mph Sledgehammer, a record-setting one-off that was based on the Callaway Twin Turbo Corvette, which could be dealer ordered by selecting RPO Code B2K. And to commemorate 35 years, Callaway Cars has announced the 2022 Corvette B2K 35th Anniversary Package. The special upgrade can be ordered through any authorized Callaway Chevrolet dealer in North America, via RPO order code PCY.
The B2K 35th Anniversary Package for the C8 Corvette comes loaded with special carbon fiber parts engineering by Callaway Cars. Bundled as the Carbon Fiber Aerodynamic Group, the kit includes:
The B2K 35th Anniversary Package also includes the center-mounted Callaway Double-D Exhaust System for the C8 Corvette Stingray, which creates a unique exhaust note from the vehicle. As stated by Callaway Cars, the internal chamber design and tube construction provide natural frequency-cancellation that otherwise makes in-cabin resonance/droning.
To a bystander, the exhaust system on a Callaway C8 Corvette is not “raucous.” Instead it’s described as a smoother, higher-pitched note. The Double-D Exhaust system is also a full 40 pounds lighter than the stock unit, and remains 50-state emissions compliant.
Additionally, the package comes with a set of Callaway Forged C8 Corvette Wheels, which are fully forged in a nine-spoke design to complement the styling of America’s Best Selling Sports Car. These wheels are available in five finishes and remove over 26 lbs compared to the OEM ones. If you ask us, they look better, too.
The interior is complete with the Callaway Interior group, which will elevate the cabin of the C8 Corvette and give it a truly unique feel over a typical car. There is a range of additions to the vehicle, which includes:
Supplementing the factory GM warranty, Callaway covers all Callaway Corvette components and GM components affected by Callaway components with their 3 year / 36,000 Mile Warranty. The B2K 35th Anniversary Package is priced at $34,960. You can check out the Callaway Cars website for more information on the B2K 35th Anniversary Edition.
To order a B2K 35th Anniversary Edition on your 2022 Corvette Stingray, it must come with the Z51 Package (RPO Z51), Aero Delete Package (RPO ZF1), and Open 5-Spoke Bright Silver Painted Aluminum Wheels (RPO Q8P).
Callaway also says any B2K Anniversary order will be rejected if it contains any of these Corvette RPOs:
5DF, 5V5, 5V7, 5VM, 5W8, 5ZC, 5ZD, 5ZU, 5ZZ, CFY, PDV, Q8Q, Q8S, Q8T, QE5, RIK, RIN, RNX, RWH, RWJ, RXH, RXJ, S6S, SB7, SFE, SJI, SL1, SL8, SPY, SPZ, SQU, STI, VQK, VWD, VYW, WKQ, WKR, WL0, ZCR
