Known for their impeccably crafted frames, No. 22 Bikes was named after titanium’s atomic number, 22. The atomic number 6? You guessed it – that’s the number for carbon. It’s also the name of a new component brand started by No. 22 Bikes. Naturally, the brand will focus on carbon fiber, specifically, they’ll “develop carbon components for areas of bikes that [they] feel have been underserved by existing offerings”.

That being said, No.6 says the new Gravel Fork is all about versatility. It has tire clearance for 47mm tires in the 700c flavor and a whopping 52mm for 650b variety.

You can also order this fork with “internal” brake routing where the housing goes through the opening at the top of the fork leg, or “fully internal” where the housing is routed through the steerer. The No. 6 Carbon Gravel Fork looks to come in two finishes as well… “painted” or “ready-to-paint”.

No. 6’s website states that the fork comes with a “surprisingly low” axle-to-crown measurement of 382mm. This, they say, contributes to “quick and crisp” handling, without the overly tall front end that troubles many gravel bikes.” No. 6 also thinks that this new fork of theirs is the perfect match for “gravel race and fast adventure-oriented gravel builds“.

The new N0 6 Carbon Gravel Fork also has an option to customize your fork with your own branding or name with a 3D printed Ti insert. Pretty cool.

What gravel bikes are using that axle to crown length? Most are within 5 mm of 395.

Does seem a bit short for a zero stack headset but for an external cup it could make sense?

Loads of custom bikes use the Columbus Futura Gravel fork with the same Axle to Crown dimensions. And the Futura Gravel fork only offers 40mm of clearance, making this fork the better option in a lot of cases.

@jaap, thanks for the heads up. Are you still having issues? What phone/browser are you using on mobile? I haven’t been able to replicate the issue on our end. But it’s possible there is an issue with a specific ad.

You’re right, I can’t replicate it now. Must have been ad specific. I’ll note some more details for you if this ever happens again.

Would love if the customization included an option for generator hub wiring!

I built a No22 last year prior to this fork being available and used a Enve Adventure fork which checks all the boxes including dynamo routing.
